Hello

I have always appreciated and seen beauty in every artform, whether it's music, painting, filmmaking, etc. This connection comes from my own artistically diverse family. My grandfather, Paul Robi, was one of the founding members of the 1950's singing group, The Platters. My mother grew up in the music business by eventually managing and singing for The Platters. Music has always been a form of connecting for my family which led me to play electric bass for the past 10 years, and now pursue audio editing. My grandmother, Martha Robi, met my grandfather in her hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Here she grew up painting landscapes with her father of his own hometown of Vigo, Spain. My grandmother sparked my passion for classic movies, aesthetics, and fashion. I get my painting skills from her and still use her favorite oil paints to this day. My family supplied a strong base for me to feel free to try new things, and I am happy to carry this adventurous attitude into my artistic endeavours and into my career.

An overall experience is complex and full of different emotions that contribute to a singular moment, and in my pieces, I tap into this spirit to tell this story to the viewer. The spirit that color aids in my artwork is the depth and complexities included in one emotion. Colors deliver different sentiments to me and I make an effort to express these feelings in my work.
